Our Annual Dinner this year will feature one of the most prominent Catholic influencers in the country, Dr. Joanna Howe.Dr. Howe is a distinguished lawyer, a Rhodes Scholar with a PhD from Oxford University, a legal academic, and the author of three books. In addition to her professional accomplishments, she is also a mother of five children.
In 2022, Dr. Howe co-founded Enid Lyons List, an Australian organisation dedicated to empowering pro-life women to engage in the public sphere. Since then, she has established a significant presence on social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube, where she has garnered a substantial following.
In 2024, Dr. Howe, a law professor at the University of Adelaide, filed a case with the Fair Work Commission, resulting in a conciliation where the university agreed to withdraw the action they had taken against her, marking a significant victory for academic freedom.
