Come together for the pure joy of singing!

MELBOURNE SINGS! is a unique event including a combined choirs workshop, performances from individual choirs and a massed finale ... and the opportunity to fundraise for your choir!

Date:     Saturday 5 July 2025

Times: 

• 11.45am - 12.30pm  Choir soundchecks (times will be allocated after all places are filled)
• 12.30pm - 2.00pm    Massed rehearsal / workshop
• 2.30pm                     Public concert

Guest Conductor:  Christopher Kiver

Dr Christopher Kiver is a sought-after clinician, frequently guest-conducting and adjudicating in China, Australia, New Zealand, and across the USA for ACDA and NAfME. His expertise includes conducting and vocal pedagogy, changing voices, music ministry, programming, recruitment, score study, rehearsal methodology and choral advocacy. Currently a Professor of Music and Director of Choral Activities at Pennsylvania State University, Dr Kiver is a double Grammy Award winner and a recipient of the World Choral Symposium Foundation Scholarship and the PSU President’s Award.

Fundraise for your choir!

Help us build an audience for the public concert by advertising through your choir's networks.  Ask patrons to nominate your choir when pre-booking their ticket.  

80% of pre-booked ticket sales (less trybooking fees) nominating your choir will be returned to you as fundraising dollars!  

Accompaniment information:

A piano will be available for accompaniment at the venue.  If your choir uses backing tracks, please note that you will need to be responsible for bringing your own PA or bluetooth speaker.

Concert tickets are available now!  Your choir will be added to the ticketing page within two days of your registration. 

Tickets will also be available at the door.
