Losing Sinatra
About
In the heart of Greenwich Village, New York, a struggling artist
with grandiose ideas of being the next Picasso, grapples with
his past and moves ever so closer to the edge of insanity after
the death of his greatest idol, Frank Sinatra. His devoted, yet
(not so) patient sister, a psychiatrist, helps to guide her brother
to a new life outside of the four walls that have become his
sanctity, whilst contending with his memory lapses.
Storytelling at its best, penned by multi-award winning and
highly respected Perth Hills writer, Noel O’Neill.
Maverick Theatre Productions presents this beautifully crafted,
poignant observation of life, love, relationships and the
connections we make to the extraordinary lives of ordinary
people. Humorous, yet deeply moving and at times, painfully
real, O’Neill weaves snippets of his own extraordinary life into
this compelling comedy/drama that is sure to resonate with
many.
Beautiful references to a bygone era all but now disappeared.
