State Landscape Strategy Workshop

About
You are invited to participate in the State Landscape Strategy Workshop!
The Department for Environment and Water, in partnership with Landscape Boards, has been tasked by the Deputy Premier to develop a State Landscape Strategy that is both ambitious and effective and aligned with existing and emerging regional, state and national priorities.
This strategy will guide integrated effort across State and Local government, peak bodies, industry groups, landscape boards and others to deliver a better future for all South Australians. The wise and sustainable management of our natural resources will underpin our future prosperity, with specific obvious benefits for all South Australians such as ensuring safe and secure access to water, enhancing primary production, protecting our unique biodiversity and continuing cultural connection to country.
Your organisation plays a key role in the management of the State’s natural resources (whether directly or indirectly). By working together, we can enhance the environmental, economic and social outcomes we all seek to deliver.
At this workshop , we’d value your contribution about:
- Natural resources management priorities for our State that have impact and deliver co-benefits for multiple sectors
- Actions that will deliver on these priorities
- What is needed to ensure the strategy is implemented including the associated governance and supporting systems and processes.
