After performing alongside some of the world’s most talented musicians, he is now ready to launch his solo project. Paulo has already released three singles from an upcoming album, each reflecting the essence of his ancestral roots from Timor Leste and Portugal. His sound embodies unmistakable island rhythms paired with cool reggae and uplifting lyrics that showcase the optimism he infuses not only into his music but also into his outlook on life. A passionate activist and advocate for a Free East Timor, Paulo has also collaborated with First Nations artists across Australia. He has played a crucial role in promoting Timorese music, dance, and culture in Australia, mentoring the next generation of Timorese musicians to ensure the preservation of their heritage. Paulo has embarked on a solo project and has released Three singles with his latest track ‘Stay A While’ . Staying true to his island roots, this new track sets a scene for lover’s reggae, vibing with lyrics sung in both English and Tetum (Timor Leste), Paulo’s native language. The song speaks to spending time with the people you love, creating lasting memories and forging deep connections, opening to the mystery of life, love and the other side.
In the words of the Natural Mystic, Bob Marley,'Live for yourself and you will live in vain. Live for others and you will live again.'
