Pyrography: a burning desire.

Pyrography is the free-handed art of embellishing wood or other materials with burn marks, resulting from the controlled application of a heated object such as a poker. Attending this workshop gives you a chance try without the cost of buying your own equipment. For those who have tried pyrography, this workshop will allow you to revisit what you started some time ago or try something new.
Pyrography started with charcoal of burnt timber, early humans discovered they could create patterns, designs, and drawings on their walls.
Our journey in this workshop will be separated into several parts, these will include
• History of wood burning
• Safety
• Material type
• Wood Preparation
• Tools and equipment
• Picking a design
• Transferring a design
• Practice
Cast $110. All materials will be supplied.
