Jane Austen's Lady Susan

About
Jane Austen's works are considered to be timeless pieces, and her comical novella, Lady Susan, is no exception. This sparkling tale comes to life in Rob Urbinati's delightfully witty stage adaptation, as he interweaves multiple characters, each with their own underlying motivations. One such person is Lady Susan Vernon, a beautiful and charming recent widow, who visits her brother-in-law and his wife, Charles and Catherine Vernon, with little advance notice at their country residence. Catherine is far from pleased, as Lady Susan had tried to prevent her marriage to Charles, and her unwanted guest has been described to her as "the most accomplished coquette in England". Enjoy this tale of scheming, rivalry, love and friendship, as it all unfolds!Dates
