We’ll look at how and what to research, building an accurate historical setting, how to investigate and interpret real people in history or invent your own characters, and different approaches to voice.
This masterclass is taught by Dr Kelly Gardiner, author of many acclaimed historical novels including Goddess, Act of Faith, The Sultan's Eyes, the Firewatcher Chronicles, and co-author of Miss Caroline Bingley, Private Detective.
