In Coding Club, students will develop their programming skills while learning the importance of online safety. Each session begins with a short eSafety task before diving into an hour of coding, where students will build and refine their own games.Each week introduces a new programming concept, allowing students to steadily expand their skills. In Week 4, we’ll dedicate the session to digital safety, covering topics like privacy policies, screen time effects, and identifying/handling unwanted online interactions.
In the final two weeks, students will apply what they’ve learned to an independent coding project, creating either a game or an animation of their choice.
This club is designed for students of all experience levels, offering a structured yet creative space to explore coding and problem-solving in a hands-on way.
