Career Start Workshop 2 - Knowing your learnersExplore practical ways for establishing inclusive classrooms and building stronger relationships across your school community in this second workshop. You will learn practical strategies that will help you be proactive with your students and meet them at their point of need. Building on the learning from workshop 1, you will also deepen your understanding of professional conversations and gain useful ways to prepare for challenging conversations that you might have with students, parents, peers, school leadership, and mentors. Wellbeing will be an ongoing aspect of the Career Start program and for workshop 2 you will continue to develop your ability to advocate for your wellbeing as a teaching professional.
Workshop 2A: Thursday 15 May (The Ninth Ave, Westmeadows)
Workshop 2B: Friday 16 May (The Ninth Ave, Westmeadows)
Workshop 2C: Tuesday 20 May (Melbourne Polytechnic, Preston)
Workshop 2D: Wednesday 21 May (Marnong Estate, Mickleham)
