National Sorry Day is held annually in commemoration of the release of the Australian Human Rights Commission’s 1997 Bringing Them Home Report and to promoting truth-telling.Join Elders, community members and The City of Whittlesea to honour and respect the Stolen Generations with a commiseration ceremony featuring a guest speaker, a minute's silence and a Sorry Walk. A barbecue and light refreshments will be provided.
Doors will open at 10am with official proceedings beginning at 11am. Register now to secure your attendance.
