Ever wanted to learn a musical instrument but didn’t know where to start? Not sure which instrument you might enjoy playing?Join us for a Come and Try evening hosted by Creswick Brass Band on Thursday, May 8th from 6pm to 7pm at the Creswick Senior Citizens Centre. We’ll have a variety of brass band instruments available for you to try, including cornets, tenor horns, trombones, percussion, and even tubas!
Band members will be on hand to show you how to set up, hold, and play each instrument, so you can get a feel for what you might like. This event is free of charge. If you’d like to learn more, we’ll be happy to discuss the next steps, including lessons and playing with the band. We also run a learner's group for both adults and children on Thursday evenings at 6pm during school terms.
This event is open to all ages and levels of musical experience—even if you’ve never picked up an instrument before!
