EASY RIDER BLUES - A CELEBRATION OF MELBOURNE ROOTS MUSIC
Australia’s Roots Music King, Andy Baylor, hosts a show which takes us on an easy ride through the various styles of music that he has championed over the last 40 or so years that has helped make Melbourne the “Roots Music Capitol of the World”.
Country Blues, Western Swing, folksy Cajun and Creole fiddle music, Boogie Woogie, Gospel and hometown originals... it’s all in there. With special guests Sarah Carroll vocals, Professor Ed Bates pedal steel guitar, Jazz legend Steve Grant on accordion, percussionist Denis Close, Double bass Andrew Scott and drummer Phil Collings, plus Sophie Dunn on strings - plus more special guests to be announced.
