Scout Hike (Friday night to midday Sunday) gives Scouts the opportunity to challenge themselves to plan and hike across Tallarook State Forest, completing challenges along the way.Learner Patrols will camp in one location and carry a day-pack with them during their hike, accompanied by an Adult Leader (Michael at this point).
Competition Patrols will camp in different locations each night and carry their full equipment, including tents and food, with them across the weekend, hiking without an Adult Leader.
The event counts toward the badges for both the Camper Award (nights under Canvas) and Walkabout Awards (kms travelled).
Registrations will close by the 25th of April to give us time to properly submit to the organisers.
