Matt Bateman from the Caldera Flower Farm at Upper Crystal Creek is going to give us a refresher on Biochar and speak to us about other regenerative gardening techniques.Caldera Flower Farm is one of the few flower farms to actively embrace regenerative agricultural principals to grow beautiful (and healthy) fresh cut flowers here in Northern NSW. Biochar is one of their secrets of success!
At Murwillumbah Community Gardens we are intending to produce Biochar twice per year, and we will be producing a batch at this workshop.
We do ask that any children attending this workshop be closely supervised.
LOCATION; We are on Mooball Street, opposite the Mount St Patrick's Primary School, next to Showgrounds Gate 2.
Please wear closed footwear. Bring a hat and sun protection
