Mesa A & Mesa J FIFO employees fly to site with your family for an opportunity for Robe Valley FIFO family members to see what FIFO mining life is like. As a special guests to Robe Valley to explore a mine site for the day, check out the BIG machinery and eat a crib lunch at the Mesa A mess!

*Family Nominations must meet criteria as per Terms and Conditions and will be drawn out lottery style if numbers exceed charter limits.
*Employee please reserve a ticket for yourself to attend as part of the family booking
Teams C & D Sunday 22nd June 2025 (FIFO employees & families Mesa A & J)
Employees may nominate family to attend a Family Day if they fulfil the following ' Terms and Conditions'
They are Rio Tinto permanent or seconded employee, a CAT 1 contractor or a permanent CAT 3 contractor with a minimum of 6 months continuous current service at Robe Valley.
Employee must not have had a written warning in the last two years or currently be on a management plan.
Employee must be rostered off on the day of the visit.
Employee must not have attended Family Day at Robe Valley in the last 2 years
Nominations limited to:
5 people consisting of spouse/partners, children, parents and siblings.
Children will be permitted for nomination if they are 5 years and above, this is to be strictly adhered to due to child safety restraint laws. Booster seats are required for children 5 - 7 years of age. Parents are to supply their own booster seats for the day.
If the child is under the age of 16 they must be accompanied by an adult.
Nominated guests will be required to disclose any conflicting interest (e.g. employee of a competitor, journalist, financial analyst).
Clothing Standards:
Closed in shoes must be worn at all times
Casual clothes – long sleeved shirt and long pants must be worn on site at all times.
Safety glasses, hard hats and high visibility vest will be provided by Rio Tinto as required
