A Workshop on Ensemble Improvised Movement/Theatre with Nick PapasThis workshop in Ensemble improvised movement/theatre is for dancers, physical theatre performers, actors and all persons wishing to explore the performing arts. This class will extend your movement expression, increase your awareness of group impulse and cohesion, develop your theatrical clarity, boost your confidence in and out of the theatre, and help you with comic timing. Specific to this workshop is using the Ensemble in improvisation, using tried and true techniques developed through Nick’s thirty years of work with the Born In A Taxi physical theatre group. This experience provides a unique inroad into the performing arts, focusing foremost on generating material directly from the unconscious via the body. Come along and discover the joy of moving and performing with others in a relaxed environment.
