The Mentone Public Library and Writers Centre proudly presents our first ever Literary Festival. Three days of the best writing, reading, workshops, open mic and discussion, from May 8 to 10, 2025.For bookings, please choose any one of three tiers:
Tier 1: "The Writer's Pass" $40
THURSDAY MAY 8, 7pm: Open Mic
FRIDAY MAY 9, All day, 11am - 3pm: Writing Workshops with Joanne Anderson and Alan Rose

Tier 2: "The Reader's Pass" $60
SATURDAY MAY 10, all day author presentations:

A true crime panel with Kerryn Mayne, Vikki Petraitis and Emily Webb
‘Backstage Pass’ book talk and mini-concert with singer/songwriter/author Joe Matera
George Ivanoff presents our writing comp winners, and more

Tier 3: THE GOLD PASS $80
ALL ACCESS, ALL EVENTS, THURS through SATURDAY
In addition, for the Saturday session a full boxed lunch by local cafe Busy Boy can be booked beforehand for only $20 (available to Saturday participants only)
