Join us for an unforgettable evening at Woowookarung Regional Park Lookout on Monday, 22nd April, from 5:30 PM to midnight (if clear). This free event is perfect for families, nature enthusiasts and stargazers alike.Event highlights:
5:30 PM: BYO picnic and warm drinks. Dress warmly for the Autumn chill and bring a chair or blanket.
6:00 PM - 7:30 PM: Explore moths and insects with UV light – bring your camera or phone to record your findings! Learn how to use iNaturalist for Citizen Science observations.
6:30 PM - 7:30 PM: Observe the night sky through telescopes and measure sky darkness with Globe at Night.

12:00 AM onwards: Watch the Lyrids Meteor Shower (weather permitting) and observe the Last Quarter Moon.
What to bring: Warm clothing, thermos with hot drinks, chair, blanket or sleeping bag, binoculars (optional), telescope (optional).
