About
The Royal Academy of Dance examinations will be held in early Term 3. We will advise confirmed date as soon as we know from the Royal Academy of Dance.Requirements for the Exam:
Students are required to participate in two ballet classes per week.
95% class attendance is required.
We expect all students to have immaculate appearance (spotless tights, shoes and leotard) with a perfect bun (no fringes or flyaway hair).
Uniform:
Pink leather ballet shoes with elastic
Ballet tights
Black leotard (All Grades)
Black canvas character shoes with flesh coloured elastic (Grade 6 and 8)
Pointe shoes (Intermediate)
BOYS -white short sleeve leotard with black tights & white socks & ballet shoes white or black.
Dance Discovery will provide the character skirts, long black chiffon skirts and all props for the examination.
Please note that there will be a workshop prior to the exam during Term 2 July School holidays.
