A Timbertowners Sportsmen’s Lunch is being held at the Blackbutt Hall on Friday 18th July at 12 for 12.30pm. Guests include former world champion Axeman David Foster from Tasmania, Alfie Langer former Qld and Australian Rugby League player and special emcee Radio broadcaster, David “luttsy” Lutteral as emcee. Be entertained with talks interviews, a live auction , raffles and a 3 course meal and drinks.All proceeds will go towards raising funds for the establishment of a Timber Museum in Blackbutt to share the stories of timber workers past and present and to celebrate the achievements of our local world champion woodchoppers Mitch Argent, Jack Argent , Jamie Head and Anne Patterson.
