A night with Alana 'King of Spin'
Join us for a special evening with star leg-spinner Alana King and special guest MC Christina Matthews.
Both outstanding Australian cricketers from Melbourne who have re-located to WA.
Alana King, starred in the 2024/25 Women's Ashes taking 23 wickets in 7 games. Her 'Ball of the Century' bowling Sophia Dunkley at the MCG has been rated up with Shane Warne's 'Gatting Ball' at Old Trafford in 1993.
Alana holds the record for the best strike rate in WODIs, 25.2 balls per wicket, with 58 victims at an ave. of 17.68, in 37 ODIs.
Christina Matthews played 20 Tests for Australia from 1984 to 1995, a record in women's cricket, along with her record of 58 wicket keeper Test dismissals. Chris has also played 47 WODIs.
She became a leading cricket administrator and was CEO of WACA from 2012 to 2024. Chris is now President of the Australian Cricketers Association and was recently inducted into the CA Hall of Fame on 29 January, 2025.
