Redwood Park Madeira Weed Challenge - WINTER
About
Thirty volunteers are invited to clear a half acre of rampant, smothering Madeira Vine. Redwood Park is home to many vulnerable species and has great biodiversity. Friends of the Escarpment volunteers are unable to bring this particular area under control on their own. They need 3 hours of your help!Registration is essential. Participants must wear a hat, gloves, long sleeved pants and a long sleeved shirt. All tools are provided. No chemicals will be used on the day. Bring water and morning tea. The meeting spot is at the Picnic Area of the Warrego Highway section of the park. As you descend the range from Toowoomba to Withcott, turn left just past the 100km sign. The event is not suitable for children.
