Ah, Raclette — the melty, gooey hero of alpine comfort food. We're throwing a Raclette Night at Old Bridge Como on Tuesday 6th May – and you're invited to pull up a seat at the melty, mouth-watering table.

Guided by our very own Aly Forsyth, with cheesy wisdom and demos from our mates at European Foods, this is a guided sit-down tasting like no other. Think fine wine paired with golden, bubbling Raclette magic and all traditional accompaniments, such as charcuterie, cornichons and baguette.

Raclette cheese hails from the Alps, specifically the Valais region of Switzerland, though it’s also made in parts of France (like Savoie and Franche-Comté). Its name comes from the French word 'racler,' which means 'to scrape' — a nod to how it’s traditionally served. 

Simply purchase a take-home mini Raclette grill and you’ll receive a complimentary seat at the table. Seats are limited so get in quick!

• Liqueur Genepi d’Armoises (Génépi is a traditional herbal liqueur from the Alps, known for its floral, bitter-sweet flavour and often enjoyed as a post-meal digestif. It’s the perfect way to finish Raclette night – cutting through the richness of the cheese with a cleansing alpine kick)
