About
Cardiac Ultrasound plays a significant role in the surveillance of patients undergoing cancer therapies. Echocardiography is the first line imaging test to evaluate cardiac function in cardio-oncology patients treated with therapies that can induce CTRCD.Throughout the day, you will learn:
• What measurements should be taken during a Cardio-Oncology echocardiogram
• Normal LV strain values and how to assess for CTRCD
• What is Myocardial Work and why is it important
• Hands on LV strain/Myocardial Work techniques and optimization
• The importance of 4D LV volumes
• 1 on 1, hands on 4D optimization.
This education session will provide you with the opportunity to ask questions directly to the Experts and obtain hands on training in a small group.
