Reconciliation Week 2025 (SOLD OUT)

About
National Reconciliation Week (NRW) is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.
Please note that due to the weather, we will be holding this event under cover and indoors at the Monash Civic Centre (293 Springvale Road Glen Waverley), just next door to the Glen Waverley Library Forecourt.
About the event:
The event will start at 10am with a Welcome to Country & Smoking Ceremony at the fountain area at Monash Civic Centre's Springvale Road entrance (marked with a star on the map below). From 10.30am, most of the event will move indoors to the Function Room for the exciting performance by Kalat Dancers.
Free coffee will be available for the duration of the event, and a light morning tea will be provided from 11am.
Parking:
Parking is available outside the Glen Waverley Library and Civic Centre, as well as in the multistorey Bogong Carpark. These areas are highlighted in blue on the map below. Limited parking is also available along Kingsway and surrounding streets.
When parking, please observe the signage indicating time restrictions in place. If parking in the Library/Civic Centre carpark, please sign the parking book at the Monash Civic Centre customer service desk.
