About
Move. Express. Transform
Step into a living, evolving artwork! In this immersive workshop, you will use bodily, gestural movements to create a large collaborative painting. Through guided somatic exercises, you will use hands, brushes and unconventional tools to make your marks on the canvas.
Each workshop builds on the marks made in the last, adding and responding to the previous participants work.
Participants are encouraged to document their experience throughout the workshop; this can be done through mono-printing, sketching, journalling and voice recording as you move through the process.
A final gathering of all participants will be held on 08 June as a celebration of the work you have created together.
Optionally, please bring along:
- An apron and/or wear old clothing
- Journal
- Some drawing materials (pencils, charcoal etc)
- Recording device (mobile phone)
