About
This forum is addressing the housing shortage on the Southern Tablelands. Since Covid times there has been an exodus of persons moving to our region. There are no vacancies in the rental market, and if there is a vacancy the rental rates are not affordable. New builds are slowly progressing, but there is very little social housing coming online. Homeless people living in cars is more and more evident.We have a range of guest speakers presenting at this event, including representatives from the housing industry, real estate agencies, local council, the Lions Club (who are involved in building affordable housing), and community workers engaged in the housing sector.
The ticket price includes a two course meal at The Top Rail.
