Join us at the Sing Joyfully concert featuring sacred and secular music sung by the Barwon Heads Chorale.The concert take place in the beautiful Sacred Heart Chapel and will be predominantly sacred music, including several well-known pieces such as Bach’s Jesu Joy of Man’s Desiring, Mozart’s Ave Verum and César Franck’s Panis Angelicus.
The program also includes Fauré’s stunningly beautiful Pie Jesu from his Requiem, sung by Meredith Norman, and an organ solo by the choir’s director, Terry Norman. The organ solo will be one of Johann Kuhnau's Biblical Sonatas, “The Battle between David and Goliath,” a very interesting and programmatic piece.
Tickets: $10 (Concession $5) each.
