Learn traditional Latvian leatherworking skills while you create your own handcrafted piece. Choose from a range of projects including drink coasters, key ring tags, wallets, bookmarks and bracelets.A Latvian leather shield can be made based on a 2 day event.

Skill Level: Beginner to advanced
Artwork design and layout - using symbols from reference booklets
Adhesive stickers applied to mask symbols on leather
Leather cutting, tracing, hole punching, leather lacing and colouring
Leather etching, stamping, bevelling, using a burning pen
Applying press studs
No previous experience necessary.
Saturday & Sunday 10 – 3. ($70 one day only, $120 both days)
