Denmark Baroque hired acclaimed textile artist and costumier Susie Vickery to design costumes for Henry Purcell’s opera The Fairy Queen. Despite funding issues that halted the staging, the costume team continued, creating costumes from materials sourced at the Denmark Tip Shop. This project turned into a community effort, and Susie will share the evolution, design process, and the resulting music video.This event is part of WASTESORTED: RE-STYLE. RE-USE. RE-CREATE.
