Canberra Irish Set Dancing Weekend 10 - 12 October 2025

This popular annual event is now in it's 19th year. Don't miss this opportunity to learn from Kevin and Carol Monaghan, experienced and well-known teachers from Basingstoke, UK. See their website: www.setsmad.com

Kevin and Carol host their own dance weekend ('SetsMad') in September each year. These weekends are collaborative events, featuring returning teachers Padraig and Roisin McEneany, the ceili band 'Rise the Dust'; and have seen the launch of newly composed sets by Padraig and the 'SetsMad' team.

Their second smaller annual dance weekend ('Spring Thing') has featured brush dances, unique waltzes and stepping workshops.

Kevin and Carol are thrilled to bring to us their wealth of experience, and to share the fun!

Suitable for both new and experienced dancers. Workshops with Kevin and Carol, plus two ceilis with live music. Light refreshments included.

Come for the whole weekend, or individual sessions.

Early-bird discount bookings open on 1 July 2025 (and close on 22 September 2025).

* Tickets will be refunded if you are unable to attend.
* Friday 10 October meet & greet at the Canberra Irish Club (6 Parkinson St, Weston) is at own expense. From 6pm, or earlier if you wish (the Club and Bistro are both busy on Friday nights).
