A different culture. A different world. The world of Chadô. (SOLD OUT)

About
Tea has been consumed for centuries by many around the world, but Chadô (茶道), the Way of Tea, is much more than a bowl of tea.
Chadô, at its core, is simply the Japanese tradition of preparing, serving and enjoying green powdered tea (matcha). However, it also embodies many aspects of Japanese culture. Through Chadô, we learn about Japanese history, its people and philosophy, its architecture and its many, many arts including pottery, flower arrangement.
Preparing and serving tea is a deeply heartfelt experience of the Japanese spirit of hospitality, which sits at the heart of Chadô.
Step into the world of Chadô with us.
Each session begins with an intimate demonstration of the centuries-old practice, where you’ll be served traditionally prepared matcha green tea and Japanese sweets. Next, you will have the opportunity to gain a much deeper understanding of Chadô through a hands-on workshop guided by our members, where you will prepare your own of bowl of matcha tea.
