AFRICAN DRUMMING AND DANCE WEEKEND WORKSHOP with Bangoura Ke and Sibo Bangoura.Supported by Addi Rd Community Organisation.
Join us in celebration and explore the fun and dynamic art form of West African Drumming and Dance.
On the weekend of the 6th and 7th of September we will be running a special 2 day workshop in Sydney's Inner West on Gadigal County - Eora Nation with Bangoura Ke and Sibo Bangoura, the Kings of West African Drumming and Dance.
Bangoura Ke and Sibo Bangoura are internationally recognised Master Drummers and Dancers who come from a long family line of Griots (cultural guardians) from Guinea, West Africa. They are both amazing performers, patient teachers and love to share their rich knowledge of traditional West African Drumming, Dance and culture.
The workshops are catered for all levels. So whether you are a beginner or advanced level student there is something for everyone.
People of all ages and backgrounds are welcome.
