About
This documentary was produced by Jo Ariel and filmed by George Ferrell, both local residents. They have extensive media careers and wanted to use their skills to give back to the Southern Moreton Bay Islands by documenting and sharing the wonderful, positive stories which abound in this community.The documentary also explores the deep connections the artists have with their environment and how it inspires their creative output. Island Magic showcases the traditions and culture of the Quandamooka people, who are the custodians of the lands and seas.
