Are you looking to develop a more embodied presence on stage? Looking to 'flesh' out your character work? Develop character physicality? Understand the language of movement in creating the 'dramatic moment'?Over 4 weeks this weekly 2 hr class with Andrew Cory will introduce you to tools of character embodiment
This course is designed to introduce the actor to movement essentials. Often students of acting and indeed actors have developed marvelous intellectual understanding of character using whatever acting philosophy that works for them. But those ideas or impulses need to translate into a body - the actor's body! The actor's body is a trained instrument that is a source of wisdom as much as it is an instrument of non verbal expression.
