About

Jack and Algernon are wealthy young men and the best of friends. Or so it seems. Behind a façade of upper-class respectability, both lead double lives. Idle merriment and triviality are rudely interrupted, however, by the question of romance. Soon, each finds himself hopelessly entangled with the other’s false identity as they run between town and country. Cigarette cases, cucumber sandwiches and muffins figure into their crumbling deceptions. Not to mention a certain handbag. And just who is Earnest?
