About
The Club is calling for expressions of interest to become a Rescue Water Craft Operator with the course to commence mid to End May and finish in Sep depending on participant Availability, weather and progress. The course is typically scheduled over 10-12 weeks or 10 – 12 Sessions of 4hrs each and will involve travel to different beaches and a weekend in the South West. Travel outside of the Peel area is up to the member to negotiate with their parent club.There may be an opportunity to run a more condensed course over a shorter time but the sessions numbers will remain typically the same. This will be based on the overall participant and Trainer availability.
SLS Prerequisites
Completed a BNZ
Hold and RST
Be 18 years of age on the day of assessment
SHSLSC Prerequisites
Be a Current Financial Member of Secret Harbour SLSC
Hold a current Drivers Licence
Hold and be proficient as an IRBD
Minimum of 16 Rostered Patrol Hours this season.
