Drawing is one of the most powerful tools for remembering and deepening learning. However, it is one of the skills we develop the least.This workshop is designed to support you! For educational professionals seeking to build your confidence to draw for your own memory and learning.
This is especially designed for you if you keep telling yourself "I can't DRAW!".
No experience required! This practical, hands-on experience will support you to:
- Understand the basic elements of drawing.
- Use simple drawings to aid memory and learning.
All you need is...
1. Something to draw on (post-its*, sketchbook, notebook, pad, etc.)
2. Something to draw with (pencil*, pen or texta)
3. A sense of fun, curiosity and adventure!
If you are a teacher or working in education, this workshop supports the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers (APST), especially:
- 1.2 Understand how students learn.
- 4.1 Support the participation of learners.
