The AUO will be performing live for a South Coast audience at Berry Public School. Members of the orchestra from Newcastle and Sydney will dazzle you with their unique arrangements of classical and modern tunes. Prior to the concert, MD Ian Porter will conduct a 30 minute ukulele workshop where you will learn some short riffs that you can use in the 30 minute jam at the end of the concert! All ticket holders are welcome to attend the included and optional workshop. Bring your ukulele if you have one (C6 tuning only), feel free to just come along listen if you dont.
Workshop material will be available on the day and will involve some very simple TAB or notation reading which is used to learn a couple of riffs.
1pm Workshop starts.
1:30pm 15-minute break
1:45pm Concert starts.
3:00pm Jam (a 30 moinute all-in jam using some of the riffs you learn in the workshop)
