The Wynnum Bugs Long Lunch is Back for 2025!

Our much-loved Wynnum Bugs Long Lunch returns for another fabulous afternoon of fun, food, and great company!

Join us for a relaxed, all-inclusive afternoon featuring:
A delicious 2-course meal, free flowing drinks, lively entertainment, great company and raffles & auctions.

Our MC for the afternoon is Barry Lea, who has represented Australia in rugby sevens, played for Queensland and the Wallabies, before playing in the super league for the Canberra Raiders. Then finishing his career with a stint at English rugby union club Saracens.  

Special Guests on our panel include include Dan Crowley and Eva Karpani. Dan has won 38 caps for the Australian National Team and played over 100 times for the Queensland Reds during his rugby career. He is one of only 43 players who have won the world cup on multiple occassions.  Eva Karpani burst onto the scene as a 16-year-old in 2013 when she played Rugby Sevens. Originally from Adelaide, Eva had a brief stint in rugby league before realising union was the code for her. The 27-year-old prop made her debut for Australia against Japan in 2019, and more recently was named 2023 Wallaroos player of the year.
