Subramanya Shastry – Flute
A Melbourne-based Carnatic flautist from Bangalore, Subramanya Shastry has performed across Singapore, Malaysia, Mauritius, and Australia. Trained in Carnatic music, he blends tradition with global genres like flamenco, jazz, folk, and Persian. He was awarded Best Instrumentalist by the Ministry of Cultural Affairs, Government of India.
Dr. Arthavan Selvanathan – Mridangam
One of Australia’s leading mridangists, Dr. Arthavan Selvanathan is a medical doctor dedicated to promoting Carnatic music. With over 15 years of performance and teaching experience, he heads SRJ Rhythm Academy, Queensland’s only mridangam school and a non-profit organization.
