Hailing from the rugged heart of Gippsland, Dog Country channels the spirit of the old country greats with a nightmarish twist, drawing on wild west folklore, the Australian bush, and the grit of psychological thrillers.Dog Country are a talented bunch of young local musicians who have just released their self-
titled debut album on Warrior Records. With howling harmonies, banjo twang, and stomping
rhythms, their gritty sound blends haunting melodies with rowdy anthems and untamed
revelry.
In honour of the opening track, Guilty, they’ll be put on trial at the Courthouse in a
theatrical performance.
The Mafeking Hillbillies will open the show with their folky, country originals and sibling
harmonies.
Wits End Bar will be serving locally crafted beer, wines and cider.
