Aboriginal Awareness Training for International Students
About
VACCA’s Cultural Awareness Training is designed to provide participants with an introduction to Aboriginal history and culture in Victoria, and an increased understanding of the effects of colonisation, grief and loss on our people.Developed and delivered by expert Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cultural Facilitators, this training is appropriate for anyone wanting to know more about Aboriginal history and cultures and how to best support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. It is particularly relevant for people in the community services sector who support vulnerable Aboriginal children, young people, families and colleagues.
This one-day workshop was built on 65,000 years of stories, traditions and culture, and is designed to strengthening everyone's understanding of Aboriginal history.
Participants will receive a certificate of completion for this workshop.
