About
This year, we proudly honour the courage and sacrifices of our heroes from the past, while also shining a light on the modern-day champions who continue to uphold and celebrate our Filipino identity—especially here in our second home, Australia.Our event, "Greatness of the Past, Strength of the Present: Celebrating Our Heroes – Kadakilaan ng Nakaraan, Lakas ng Kasalukuyan: Pagdiriwang ng Ating mga Bayani," will be held on 7th June 2025 at St Peter’s Eastern Hill Hall, 15 Gisborne Street, East Melbourne VIC 3002.
We are expecting over 150 attendees, including community leaders, business representatives, government officials, and members of the broader Filipino community. The program will feature vibrant cultural performances, heartfelt speeches, and a special tribute to both our historical heroes and today’s educators, frontliners, and changemakers—our present-day heroes.
