On Saturday, May 31st, the Dingley Football Club will host a tribute game, “Jane’s Match,” in memory of Jane Barnes, who passed away in 2018 after battling a rare form of leukaemia.Jane’s journey was similar to Maddie Riewoldt’s, and throughout her fight, the Riewoldt family and Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision (MRV) offered tremendous support to Jane’s network, which she called “Jane’s Army.” Jane was a passionate advocate for MRV, and we aim to continue her legacy in the battle against this devastating disease that affects far too many young lives.
A luncheon will be held at the Dingley Football Netball Club from 11am - 2pm featuring live auctions, guest speakers and exciting raffle prizes. A post game event will be held from 7pm. All proceeds from “Jane’s Match” will go to Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision.
