2025 Primary Maths Games Evening
You are warmly invited to our Family Maths Evening on Tuesday 13 May 2025 from 7.30pm – 8.30pm in the Victor Smorgon Hall.
Over the course of an hour, we will play 3 mathematically rich games taken directly from our Primary classrooms. In doing so, we hope to offer insights into the power of games to:
• Engage all learners and promote enjoyable discussion
• Balance skill with luck through explicit teaching of strategies
• Highlight important mathematical concepts
• Practise mathematical skills and further fluency
• Differentiate and cater for a variety of learners
• Foster home school connections (Russo, Russo & Bragg, 2018).
Entrance to the event will be via the Auburn Security Gate.
