Seachtain de Chultúr na hÉireann Workshop - Words with Wings

About
Words with WingsA session for anyone who loves listening to poetry by contemporary Irish women poets. Lizz Murphy will read a selection she hopes you will enjoy. There will be time for conversations and maybe a chance to share a favourite poem by an Irish woman yourself. You might also be inspired to scribble (optional) so come prepared.
Lizz Murphy has published fifteen books including ten poetry titles. Born in Belfast she has lived in Binalong north of Yass for a long time and spends a lot of time in Canberra. Her next poetry reading is with Scottish-Australian poet Ali Whitelock at That Poetry Thing That’s on Every Monday Night at Smith’s Alternative, June 9 at 7 pm (includes an open mike session)
This workshop is part of Seachtain de Chultúr na hÉireann (A Week of Irish Culture) hosted by Comhaltas Canberra and supported by the Government of Ireland Emigrant Support Program
