Walk on Air: Come and Join me to read and explore some of Seamus Heaney's poetryAn invitation to read, explore and discuss some of Seamus Heaney's work. We will read some of Heaney’s poetry together and explore his preoccupations and consider the transformative effect of his work. This workshop welcomes anyone interested in finding out more about Ireland’s Nobel Laureate poet.
Moya's poetry has featured on buses and radio, in galleries and has appeared in print and online journals and anthologies here and overseas and has won prizes. Moya third poetry collection, Doggerland (Recent Work Press 2020) was. highly commended in 2021 ACT Book of the Year Awards.
This workshop is part of Seachtain de Chultúr na hÉireann (A Week of Irish Culture) hosted by Comhaltas Canberra and supported by the Government of Ireland Emigrant Support Program
