HSC ENGLISH WORKSHOP : PAPER 1
About
This 3-hour workshop is designed to equip Year 12 students with the skills and strategies essential for success in HSC English Paper 1. The first half of the session will focus on building strong study habits, managing time effectively under exam conditions, and reducing stress through practical, sustainable techniques. Students will also develop a clear understanding of form versus feature, and revise core language techniques.The second half of the workshop will shift towards application, where students will learn how to answer comprehension questions and will also be guided through the process of developing a strong thesis and structuring their ideas clearly. Using real comprehension examples, students will apply these strategies in practice to ensure they walk away with confidence and clarity in approaching the exam.
The session includes a 30-minute break. Please bring a water bottle, snacks, and pens. Food stores are available nearby if students wish to purchase something.
